Noalu: Paw Story · Effective 9 September 2026

Noalu: Paw Story ("the app", "we") is a free iOS app. This page explains what information the app handles, what stays on your device, and which third-party services are involved. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.

The short version

Everything you create in the app — pet profiles, diary entries, photos, videos, notes and the film or TV titles you attach to an entry — is stored only on your device. We do not run an account system or a server of our own, and your content is never uploaded to us or made visible to other people.

Information you create

Pet profiles, diary entries, photos, videos and attached titles are written to a local database and to files inside the app's own storage area on your device. They are not transmitted to us. Deleting a pet or an entry in the app removes that content from the device, and deleting the app removes all of it.

The app asks for access to your photo library only when you choose a photo for a pet or attach photos or video to an entry. It uses the system picker, so it only ever receives the items you select.

Information the app requests from third parties

The app is a client of two third-party services. When you use the film features, your device contacts them directly:

Each of these services may collect information as described in its own policy, such as your IP address and standard device details. The app does not add any personal information of yours to those requests.

Other third-party services

The app may use the following services to keep it running reliably and, in future versions, to support it with advertising. Each has its own privacy policy:

Log data

If the app crashes or encounters an error, crash-reporting tools may collect technical information about the event, such as the device model, operating system version, the app's configuration at the time, the time and date, and related diagnostics. This log data never includes your pets, entries, photos, videos or notes.

Cookies

The app itself does not use cookies. Embedded third-party components, such as the YouTube player, may use cookies or similar identifiers according to their own policies.

Security

Because your content stays on your device, its security depends on your device's own protections — a passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and device encryption. We recommend keeping them enabled and keeping a backup. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Links to other sites

The app and this site may link to other websites, including TMDB and YouTube. Those sites are not operated by us, and we recommend reviewing their privacy policies. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, their content or practices.

Children's privacy

The app is suitable for a general audience and does not ask anyone for personal information. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service connected to the app, please contact us so that we can help address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date, and continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
